Describe your work in one sentence:

Why do I create? Because its second nature to me, its like brushing my teeth first thing in the morning, or stretching when it feels like you need it. Its what i've always done, I create to feel more me, and to release tension in my body. I create because I absolutely have to. Because its who I have always been.

Why do you do it?

I cant specifically pinpoint the reason that keeps me going, I guess I just do it because its what I know, and who I am, and it would be weird if I stopped. I think my body would fill with rage and I would just explode. or I'd lose my mind.

What keeps you going (what’s your GRIT)?

And the idea of having my dream studio and painting every day for the rest of my life of course.

What advice would you give to somebody wanting to become a ‘creative’?

Follow the feelings inside of you, create without a second thought of other peoples opinions. Embrace the weird, unique parts of yourself that you may want to hide away, and stay true to yourself. Try to remember what it was like to be a child, and creative from that perspective. And the most important and hardest thing to follow: stop comparing yourself, or your work, to other people.

Tell us something unusual about yourself.

I once fell out of a tree in France whilst making a sandwich.
