Category of work:

Handcrafted candle art / Korean & Japanese candle design

Describe your work in one sentence:

I create lifelike, artistic candles inspired by Korean and Japanese craftsmanship, using natural waxes and high-quality materials.

What keeps you going (what’s your GRIT)?

The joy of transforming simple natural wax into meaningful, beautiful art pieces that bring warmth and creativity into people’s lives. I’ve always been an avid candle user myself — life can feel a bit dull at times, so creating candles that look almost real brings me genuine happiness and adds a spark of joy to everyday moments.

What advice would you give to somebody wanting to become a ‘creative’?

Be patient with your craft, stay curious, and never stop refining your skills — creativity grows when you allow yourself to learn without fear.

Tell us something unusual about yourself.

I previously worked as a flight attendant for 10 years on international routes and have travelled to more than 50 cities around the world — many of my candle designs are inspired by the cultures, landscapes, and experiences from those journeys.
