Describe your work in one sentence:

At the moment I'm enjoying drawing and painting people, looking to capture likeness as well as mood and personality whilst playing with colour.

What keeps you going (what’s your GRIT)?

The call of creation - starting with nothing and ending with something - it's magical! Nothing else zones me out like drawing and painting does - it's my sanctuary.

What advice would you give to somebody wanting to become a ‘creative’?

You already are! You just have to recognise it - it's the thing that makes you feel alive. Do more of that!

Tell us something unusual about yourself.

In the outback, (under the guidance of an Aboriginal Australian and in the company of some VERY big spiders) I once made a didgeridoo from scratch which included cutting down a eucalyptus tree that had been hollowed out by termites! Who knew?! Still can't play it!
