Eric Cantona visits GRIT Manchester

In November 2024, we had a very special visitor to GRIT Manchester.

Somebody who is a famous philosopher, actor, musician, artist, oh and could play a bit of football too.
Somebody who has always supported the Manchester art scene, not least his collaboration over many years with talented fine artist & GRIT resident Michael Browne.

Eric Cantona took time to meet a number of our artists, was suitably impressed with their work, and was genuinely enthused at the sense of community within the space.

His parting words were that ‘Art is for everyone’.
We couldn’t agree more Eric.
